York—in addition to writing SF, fantasy, YA, romance, action-adventure, erotica, and a variety of licensed properties—is a financial professional with over 40 years of experience in companies large and small across a wide range of industries. She writes the bestselling Haunted Gift Shop mysteries as Christy Fifield is the author of the best-selling Haunted Gift Shop mysteries and the Lady Plumber mysteries as Christy Evans. Amazingly, all three share a single brain. (It’s kind of a scary place to live.)
In addition to her professional experience, Ms. York has been the spouse of a writer for over 35 years, which gives her an unusual perspective on writing, publishing, and living with a writer. She has worked with packagers and traditional publishers, moving from traditional to hybrid to independent author as the industry shifted. Co-owner of Tsunami Ridge Publishing (with husband J.
